The Bowl Alliance and its predecessor, the Bowl Coalition, featured championship games from 1992 through 1997.

The National Championship Game for 2006 was sponsored by Tostitos. It was played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on January 8, 2007 and broadcasted by FOX television network. The game featured the #1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and the #2 ranked Florida Gators. Florida won by the final score of 41-14. Allstate will sponsor the 2008 game between the #2 LSU Tigers and the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes. The game is scheduled to be played in New Orleans, Louisiana on January 7, 2008 to conclude the 2007 season.

The 2008 Chick-Fil-A Bowl Game will be held at the Georgia Dome on December 31 with a 7:30 pm kick-off.

Get ready for the most exciting college bowl game in the South! Every postseason, the ACC & SEC collide on the turf of the world-famous Georgia Dome for the coveted Chick-Fil-A Bowl title. The Auburn Tigers beat the Clemson Tigers in the 2007 version of the Chick-fil-A-Bowl in overtime by a score of 23 to 20.

Chick-fil-A became the title sponsor of the Peach Bowl beginning with the 1997 Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. Since 1993, the Chick-fil-A Bowl has featured a match up between a Southeastern Conference college football team and an ACC college football team.

Beginning with the December 2008 game, Chick-fil-A assumed complete naming rights to the game in a five year, $22 million, sponsorship deal, ending almost forty years of the Peach Bowl name. A new logo was unveiled April 6, 2008. The funds from the deal will be used to increase payouts for the participating teams in hopes of further enhancing the bowl's stature. In response, the ACC has given the committee the first pick of its teams after the BCS beginning in 2008. The bowl currently has the fifth overall selection from the SEC (including the BCS). Texas Tech vs. Ole Miss Odds

One of the classics of the Bowl Season, the Cotton Bowl saw the Missouri Tigers dominate the Arkansas Razorbacks 38 to 7 in 2007. For sports betting fans things won’t get much better than a match-up between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the SEC Conference Ole Miss Rebels. Ole Miss has proven to be a tough customer and the Red Raiders are reeling from a thumping at the hands of the Oklahoma Sooners. This should be a good online betting game!

The Cotton Bowl is one of the most historic bowl games in the history of college bowl games. The Cotton Bowl classic has been played for more than 70 years. Up until now this legendary bowl game has been played at the Cotton Bowl stadium, in the Fairpark area of Dallas, Texas. The Cotton Bowl will be played in the future at the new stadium the Dallas Cowboys are building in Arlington, Texas. At the Fairpark location, the Cotton Bowl is played on the grounds where the State Fair of Texas is located.

The history of the Cotton Bowl classic is long and distinguished. From the very first game, in 1937 between TCU and Marquette, the Cotton Bowl has been full of action. And the Cotton Bowl has also played an important role in helping to shape college football's landscape. In 1964, an undefeated Texas squad beat Roger Staubach's #2 Navy team to claim their first National Championship. The Longhorns again won a National Championship in 1970 when they defeated a Notre Dame team led by Joe Theismann. But the Fighting Irish got revenge on the Longhorns when Joe Montana led them to a 38-10 victory, and a National Championship, in the 1978 game.

During its long history many great players have played in the Cotton Bowl. From Sammy Baugh, of TCU, in the 30's, to Y.A. Tittle (LSU) and Doak Walker (SMU) in the late 1940's, to Jim Brown (Syracuse) in 1957. And a number of Heisman Trophy winners have walked on to the Cotton Bowl field in Dallas. Heisman winners Bo Jackson (Auburn), Ricky Williams (Texas), Doug Flutie (Boston College) and Tim Brown (Notre Dame) all made their mark at the Cotton Bowl.
